Hey Reputah! Reputah the Beautah! Sorry. Had a J. Geils moment there.

I know this isn't it, but the only thing that comes to my mind is Agony from Into the Woods.

MAW - Repu- what? The last J Geils moment I had was in the 1980s.

Laurie - Dude, where do you find this stuff?

Think of it as a generic example. I could have done a troll under the Brooklyn Bridge or Hansel & Gretel in Center Park.

Let it Bleed - Rolling Stones?

Sunday Bloody Sunday - U2?

or perhaps some song about barf that I don't know. Looks like blood - could be puke. Meh. I got nothin'

Statue of Liberty bleeds onto a duck narrowly missing Prince!

Am I close? Am I?

Laurie said...

Bleeding and blood? And you wonder where I come up with this stuff? At least my answer had to do with hair.

I found the answer on the interwebs, and Wikipedia says it's popular there, but I don't think I've ever heard it.

Sew - What's with all the blood? Have you tried "click to enlarge"?

John - Yep - apart from the blood. The duck just happened to be there when the picture was taken.

Laurie - Oh. I thought this would have been popular in the US, what with Matt Dillon being in the video, but it looks like you're right.

name that tune? I'd like to, but I can't stand Prince.

Mr Farty said...

VM - I'm none too fond of him myself, though he did write Nothing Compares 2 U.

Not a clue!

Mr Farty said...

John - Hmmm, you want a clue? Think "Big Apple", magic and, er, that's it. Oh, Irish group with British vocalist.

All the critics love U in New York (Prince) covered by some old Irish group with a British vocalist?

Mr Farty said...

IBM - So near, not really.

Mr Farty said...

Anybody? No?

Kirsty MacColl and The Pogues - Fairytale of New York.
